Rochdale will be missing Nicky Adams for the trip to Chesterfield on Wednesday after he returned to Leicester so Adam Rundle is set to start.Dale boss Keith Hill was keen to extend Adams' two-month loan spell at Spotland but the Foxes want him back at the Walkers Stadium so Rundle is set to take his place in the side.
Hill will hope to have highly-rated winger Will Buckley available after he missed the last two games with tonsillitis.
Defender Rory McArdle took a bang to the head during the win at Wycombe but has since got the all-clear and looks certain to retain his place.
However, skipper Gary Jones remains sidelined with a groin injury and Dale are making efforts to bring in players on loan before Thursday's deadline.
